The Housing Justice League is inviting you to join our workshop and subsequent campaign to fight against the corporate-landlord monopoly takeover of Atlanta. Join us Wednesday, October 30th inside Five Forks Branch Library in Lawrenceville, GA at 6PM!

There will be expert housing researchers, advocates, unions, agencies, and special guest and elected state representative Ruwa Romman for a legislative update. We will highlight some tenant rights, give an overview of where and why the current hedge fund takeover of Gwinnett County is happening, and look towards some next steps to combat this as a community. We will be reviewing some local data and advocating for legislation that would empower tenants and combat large investor housing monopolies here in Georgia.

This is a grassroots and people-powered campaign facilitated by the Housing Justice League, but it will take a broad coalition of folks to advocate for and win legislation needed to reign in this out of control and widely felt issue!
