Who are we?
Housing Justice League is an Atlanta-based, community-led organization made up of long-time residents, community stakeholders, homeowners and renters. We believe that housing is a human right regardless of race, national or ethnic origin, economic background, religion, disability, sexual orientation, gender, or immigration status.
The American Friends Service Committee (AFSC) is a Quaker organization that promotes lasting peace with justice, as a practical expression of faith in action. Drawing on continuing spiritual insights and working with people of many backgrounds, we nurture the seeds of change and respect for human life that transform social relations and systems.
What is this?
We created this platform to help people and communities defend their human right to safe, affordable, and quality housing. This is about power to the people. If you are facing eviction, foreclosure, unsuitable living conditions, or mistreatment from your landlord or bank, we offer this platform to assist you.
